The Consginment Process

Herrema & Sons will pick up your piano and take it to our showroom.

Pick up fee is $150 for Vertical pianos and $250 for Grand Pianos.

Herrema & Sons will choose the selling price based on market value and customers request.

Once the piano sells it is a 60/40 split: 60% to the customer and 40% to Herrema & Sons.

Repairs

If we take in a piano that needs repairs (pieces stained or refinished, pedals not working, keys sticking) to the point it will prevent a sale, we will perform repairs needed at no added cost to you, and will take out the repair cost from the final sale.

Terms & Conditions

Herrema & Sons does not own your piano, we’re just selling it for you.

Herrema & Sons is not responsible if your piano doesn’t sell, but we’ll sure try our best!

If piano does not sell, and customer wants piano returned, customer agrees to pay Herrema & Sons a return-move fee of $150 for uprights, and $250 for grands.

Herrema & Sons will lower the price over time, as needed, to encourage buyers and will sell the piano at a price they choose to make the sale possible.

If the piano does not sell and the customer does not want the piano returned, Herrema & Sons will waive the return fee as payment for the piano.

Herrema & Sons is not responsible for loss of expected profits based on the final sale price due to market and demand.
